Is AI (Artificial Intelligence) Good for Humanity?

NO.

I am not saying technology in general is bad. I am just saying, this particular “AI” or “Artificial Intelligence” technology is bad.

Obviously technology has been increasing human efficiency over the ages. Although some people lost jobs, massive number of new jobs were created with every new tech cycle.

Work moved from one set of people to another, in many cases, one generation to another.

But with AI, machines are replacing people with a very few new jobs being created. Even those new jobs/work will be taken over by Super AI in the near future. So, people who develop AI technologies will themselves be replaced by AI.

What else? Build robots and “enable” AI in them?

All delivery workers, factory workers, cooks, maintenance staff, etc. will also be replaced by Robots using AI because they are cheaper and more efficient.

The AI technology has the potential to displace the workload of the entire humanity in the foreseeable future.

In short, people will no longer be required to work. Because AI and Robots will beat them on any measure of efficiency.

Is this what we want?

I believe technology exists to serve humanity, not the other way around.

What is the Solution?

Make AI Illegal. No company should develop or provide AI technologies.

Take it away. Save Humanity – while there is still time.
